The Goddess Emerges
by Siân Killingsworth
I feel an alchemy
my body of bones
soft fingers
wrists, teeth, snug
and warmer
scent of flowers
slide deepening within
I inhale gently
my flesh shudders
jubilant, shook
I want
to praise the moment
make coming
a wonder
surrounded by light
roaring shouting pushing
magic keenly
into me
my body of bones
soft fingers
wrists, teeth, snug
and warmer
scent of flowers
slide deepening within
I inhale gently
my flesh shudders
jubilant, shook
I want
to praise the moment
make coming
a wonder
surrounded by light
roaring shouting pushing
magic keenly
into me
